Before you buy
Older Carryalls (1, 2, Turf and 2xx series, roughly 1996 to 2013) are built on the Club Car DS frame, which means a tight, DS-style battery bay and, on many carts, the same onboard computer that blocks lithium chargers.
Expect DS limits: an owner of a 2004 DS reports a 20 × 10.5 in pack would not go between the frame rails. One maker sells a "Club Car Carryall" bundle for its 13.14 × 12.24 in thru-hole pack using its DS / A-frame mount, and Fleet Lithium a 14.3 × 12.24 in pack for the 1996–2000 Carryall.
