An independent guide to lithium golf cart conversions

CartVolts answers one question owners keep asking on forums and in product reviews: which lithium kit actually fits my cart? CartVolts is published by Trade Regency LLC, a US limited liability company.

Why this site exists

Most lithium golf cart batteries are sold as "universal" or "drop-in". Owners find out later that the pack doesn't fit between the frame rails of a Club Car DS, that the charge plug is different, or that the 12V converter for the lights was never in the box. Brand pages rarely say which carts a kit was designed for, and when they do, they rarely give years.

We collect what each brand publishes — kit finders, compatibility charts, product pages, spec sheets and warranty terms — and check it against 26 golf cart generations (make, model and years, split where the battery bay, the stock batteries or the charging system change). Today the database holds 46 kits from 20 brands, last checked October 25, 2026.

What we do — and what we don't

How we make money

Some brands pay us a commission when you buy through our links, and we earn from qualifying purchases as an Amazon Associate. It never changes a score, a fit verdict or a ranking. The details are on How we score.

Who runs CartVolts

CartVolts is published by Trade Regency LLC. We have no ownership link with any battery brand or seller. Write to us at contact@cartvolts.com — a person reads every message.

Corrections

Prices and specs change. We re-check brand prices regularly and show the date on every comparison. If you spot a wrong number, a dead link, or a kit that didn't fit your cart when we said it would, tell us — owner reports are the most useful data we get, and we credit the fix with its date.
